Digital Radiography
Digital radiography is a form of x-ray imaging where digital sensors are used instead of conventional photographic film. A major advantage is the ability to easily store, enhance, and share images electronically. Bypassing traditional film processing allows us to produce quality x-rays in less time without creating any enviromentally unfriendly chemical waste.  Also, less radiation can be used to produce an image of similar contrast to film-based radiography. We use digital radiography for the diagnostic evaluation of the foot and ankle, to detect bone and joint abnormalities (such as fractures), structural deformities (such as bunionshammertoes, and flat feet), and bone lesions (such as bone spurs and tumors).
